Heavy snow over the weekend finally tapered off, leaving a clean, fresh blanket on the landscape. Rob Wetton noticed this lonely snow blade about to disappear. By patron, Vancouver WA on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 04:05 pm: We have enjoyed your photos for some time. We were born, raised and educated in the U P and therefore feel very close ties to many of the pictures. We left the U P in 1957 and have lived in many parts of the USA andnever found any place as beautiful.Everyone living there should realized how good they have it. We would like to contact a friend who was a driver for Bridge Russell in the mid 50s, had a nickname of "Babe". By David St.Clair Shores,MI. on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 05:49 pm: That's about as down to Earth as you can get!Like Patron in WA. my story is the same, we left in 1969.Trust me,there is no place like the Keweenaw.Just for the chance to have seen it,but to have been born there, one gets to carry a-little extra around with them where ever they go,to spread it & that is no B.S.No Better Shot have i seen anywhere else on Earth.Thank's Bob! By Kitty from Columbus, MI on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 08:32 pm: I enjoy snow! We don't get as much as we used to here in SouthEastern Michigan. Winter is my favorite season! (Hate hot weather!) Thanks for a great picture! By Carrie Wetton, Houghton, MI on Friday, March 8, 2002 - 10:52 am:
