This reminds me of prints of paintings that were popular in the early 1900's. This view was on the Greenland Road (M38). It is on the Wilbur Ranch, which is a place that provides many marvelous scenes, including huge flocks of geese and brilliant yellow acres of mustard and trefoil in the spring.

We can always count on Dan to capture the many faces of the U.P. Today our family happens to be traveling through Gogebic County, on the way to Duluth for another hockey game with the Michigan Tech women's team.

Deer? Bear? Anyone can plainly see, them thar' are big and shaggy buffalo.

Well frankly, from the small picture, I wasn't sur what dem were either...could a' been any of the above. Good for a chuckle today!
