At a time when diesel was actually cheaper than gas; not anymore. Before Gustav, our gas was getting near $3.09 before it jumped a little. I believe it may make it under $3.00 in the near future, at least in Houston anyways........

A bunch of us State employees only had a half day of work yesterday because a transformer caught fire and we lost power to our entire State Secondary Complex. Too bad, so sad...we had to go home at 12:30 yesterday. But we're back at it today...sigh!
