I'm not sure if this is Chip or if it's Dale, but I was immediately reminded of that cartoon duo of chipmunks, when I spotted the first two shots in Robert Gallun's album over in our new-and-improved Pasty Guest Gallery. This first little guy has been lured in with a smiling cup full of peanuts and he sure looks like he's enjoying his find!

The second critter (actually the third picture) was baited in by Donna MacIntosh, with a gourmet meal of sunflower seeds. Donna told me that she had a number of baby chipmunks around and they would "gang up" waiting for the seed. She was even able to scratch their backs while they were eating. Now that they're bigger though, they get close to her, but don't let her touch them anymore. Sure is fun to watch these frisky little creatures.

These pictures are so adorable! That bright yellow cup sure grabs your attention.

:( I miss chipmunks. Only squirrels in Florida. But I feed them, or I should say I feed the birds and the squirrels push the birds out of their way and feed first. Reminds me of my daughter Odette and the winter fat she puts on every year that settles in her jowls first. OMG did I say that?lol. Great pics and close up view.

We used to hand feed them in Ontario at my Grandmas cottage, they would walk right up to us and eat the feed corn out of our hands. They are fun to watch. My son tries to find their houses in the woods down here in Pinckney.

Great pictures! These little guys are so cute. We have a "chipmunk apartment complex" which they have built in our yard. Our indoor cats get a kick out of watching them from the windows.

Reminds me of Chipper a pet chipmunk I had when I was a kid (late 50's). . . kinda' miss him now.

Not so cute if they live in your attic, wish I could find a way to move them out without getting mean.
