In case you haven't picked up a Christmas tree yet, the Calumet VFW post 3900 is having a sale at their lot next to the old DNR building on the north side of town. Recently we had the priviledge of climbing their tower, where I made a short video.

It might be a good time to remind the businesses in the area to shovel their sidewalks in front. In the good old days, they shoveled sidewalks and probably had a lot more snow. I have noticed in my 10 winters in the Copper Country that the store-owner doesn't seem to care. Get off your duff and make it easier to get in your establishment. Thanks.

Good morning from another chilly San Jose morning, with frost everywhere before the sun came up. I just tracked the progress of my pasty delivery with Fed Ex, and they're in San Jose, on the truck right now and on their way to my front door!
